Things have finally started looking up!
I sold 4 paintings.
Then was requested on another painting.
Sold a watercolor.
Was asked about a painting for someone's bedroom.
And asked about a painting for a coworkers front room.

I don't feel worthy.
But I AM enjoying this!

I need to figure out how I'm going to price things, though. My first 4 paintings I was VERY nice about. I sold the two smaller ones for $15 a piece and one of the two larger paintings for only $30. With the ridiculous amount of hours I put into the paintings it's just silly if I don't charge a little more.

How do you price your time?

I spent two hours writing another reply and just got deeper to a writing trap I guess I'd call it so I'm taking a break and will post it on my blog a little later

I googled
"how much to charge for your painting"

I liked this answer and i bet there are more golden nuggets

ha-ha I'm so happy for you and proud of you
and I hope you sell out and make tons more and and all!!
your super beautiful and I'm trying to find women with realistic type bodies to paint because I don't want to contribute to a thin only beauty. That is what we heading for. Your advice to the youngster was right on, to look at the older pictures of what we used to consider beautiful
(and prayer I'm in a 12 step group)

It makes me so sad and angery that we have to deal with body hate but on DA we are making change happen in a possitive way

the are almost no photos of mens bodies compared to women so naturally we don't think men are beautiful

ha-ha I 'm going to start adding male faeries to my page
peace and love to you and yours paul
